FROGS (Friends, Relatives of Granard School) is our PTA and anyone who has a child at the school automatically becomes a member, so WELCOME!

We organise fund-raising events, such as:

  • Spring Fair
  • Summer Fair
  • Christmas Fair
  • Valentine Ball
  • Halloween Ball
  • Cake Sales
  • Ice Cream Sale
  • Quiz Night

All the money raised is put back into the school.

We have used this money to purchase some fantastic things for the school, some examples of what FROGS money has been spent on are:

  • Trim Trail in KS1 & KS2 Playgrounds
  • Outdoor play equipment from KS2 playground – list of items was discussed with the children and they requested them
  • Gymnastic Leotards
  • Forest School equipment for the Nursery children
  • New fish tank for Nursery
  • Outdoor play equipment
  • Purchasing books and assisting with funding for the new Granard Library
  • Wet Play Games

We hold informal meetings to discuss up and coming events. We also welcome ANY new ideas and will accept ALL offers of help.

FROGS events are well attended by the families of Granard School and we can only do these events with the help of parents.

We understand that not all parents are able to attend meetings during the school day, therefore, we now have an email address and would like to be able to email FROG members an update of events and issues discussed.  If you would like to contact our FROGS  please email:
