This week in cookery club we made our own pizzas! We used a variety of vegetables and cheese for the toppings and we had to roll out our dough to make the base for the pizza. We cooked the pizzas in school and they made the whole corridor smell delicious! Everyone wanted some!

In cooking club this week we made tuna fishcakes. We used tuna, potato and spring onions. We cooked them at home in the oven. They were very tasty!

This week in Cookery Club we made kid’s ‘veggie slaw’. We used carrots, celeriac, beetroot and apple. We used mayonnaise and fresh Greek yogurt to make the sauce. It is a great side dish with meat or fish!

This new club started this week and we began by making a fresh fruit salad. We used a variety of different fruits including kiwi, passion fruit, lime and grapefruit. The children were able to prepare the fruit salad themselves, by cutting the fruit and using the juices to make a syrup! They each got to take their salad home to share with their families.
