Year 4 - Trip to The Oval - 2016

We were extremely lucky today, because Year 4 got tickets to see two county cricket teams playing against each other.  The teams play at the highest level of cricket within England.  The cricketers that play in this competition are those that get selected to go on and represent England at world levels.  When we arrived there was five minutes until the game started.  It was quite surprising to find out that I knew more about cricket than most of the teachers!  Zoe even asked to have lunch at half past eleven!  It was extremely crazy sitting in the seats when different schools were banging their blow up batons together and people saying it was boring.  A lot was going on.  The journey there and back was long, me being scared of trains didn’t help either.  Train, walking, then back to school!  It was a good day.
