About Us
Granard Primary School opened in 1953 and was built on the site of Granard House, the home of the Taylor Family, from which the school takes its name. The school’s spacious grounds were part of the Granard Estate.
The school provides education for pupils within the age ranges of 3 – 11 years
(Early Years to Year 6) in our mainstream and for pupils in Reception, Years 1, 2 and 3 in our ASD Cedar Base which opened in September 2022.
We have a wonderful community spirit that celebrates our vibrant and diverse multi-cultural community.
The school is organised into three curriculum phases:
Early Years Foundation Stage - Nursery and Reception classes
Key Stage 1 - Years 1 and 2
Key Stage 2 - Years 3, 4, 5 and 6
