Welcome to Cherry class!

Cherry Class is a nurturing and inclusive integration class. Our class includes children from  across the primary phase, and we take pride in creating a calm, supportive and engaging learning environment where each child can thrive.

Children integrate into the mainstream school or the Learning Support Unit for core subjects in the morning. In some afternoons, they also join their mainstream peers, promoting confidence, social interaction and other lifelong skills.

We believe in hand-on and experiential learning. Our weekly Muddy Monday sessions take us outdoors to explore nature – whether that’s tending to local allotments or enjoying wilder adventures on Putney Heath. These sessions encourage taking risks, creativity, sensory exploration and a love for the natural world.

Inside the classroom, we also learn through practical experiences. Our curriculum is rich and varied. Through engaging topic sessions, we cover a broad range of subjects including History, Geography, Art and DT. These sessions are designed to be inclusive, interactive and adapted to suit the learning styles and needs of the children.
