At Granard, we believe it is essential for our children to learn about a variety of religions and cultures, in order to understand the world we live in.
Therefore, our Religious Education curriculum provides our children with the opportunity to develop their knowledge and understanding of various world faiths. This will enable our pupils to become well-informed, preparing them to be caring, open minded members of our multicultural society.
Our Religious Education lessons are carefully planned, using Wandsworth’s Religious Education Agreed Syllabus alongside other valuable resources. In the lessons, teachers use a range of teaching methods and materials to encourage pupils to ask questions and learn about different faiths and cultures. In addition, pupils will have the opportunity to reflect on their own beliefs, values and experiences, as well as the beliefs of others.
