School Meals

Allergen Information

We recognise that some children may have an allergen or intolerance to one of the 14 common food allergens, and we have robust processes in place to assist the school in managing.
If your child has a food allergy or intolerance, please complete the Food Allergy & Food Intolerance Management Form and return to your school office by mid-July. To view our process and obtain the form, please visit:

School meals are provided by an outside caterer, Harrison, which MUST BE PAID FOR AT LEAST WEEKLY IN ADVANCE.   

 

All children in Reception - Year 6 are entitled to a Universal Free School Meal (UFSM) but if you are in receipt of the undermentioned you must still complete the appropriate paperwork.

 

Parents whose children are in Nursery and are eligible for a Free School Meals (FSM), must provide evidence that they are in receipt of:

 

  • Income Support
  • Income-based Job Seeker’s Allowance
  • Prescribed Tax Credits (Child Tax Credit)
  • Prescribed Tax Credits (Pension Tax Credit)
  • Support under Part V1 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
  • Guarantee element of State Pension Credit

 

NB: Parents/Carers who are in receipt of any element of Working Tax Credit do not qualify for Free School Meals.

 

Children may bring packed lunches.  As part of the Wandsworth Healthy Schools Scheme we promote healthy eating, please ensure your child has a well-balanced lunch that must not include crisps, fizzy drinks, sweets, chocolate bars or peanut based products. 

 

Parents must commit to either school dinners or packed lunches for ½ termly blocks.  Any changes must be notified to the school in writing.  Please make it clear at the beginning of each term what type of dinner your child will be having.
